The government of Canada should provide coherent national leadership in environmental and sustainability education and recognize the importance of Indigenous Knowledges and practices in the education of Indigenous and non-indigenous peoples.

The reason that the Earth is on the brink of ecological disaster is largely greed, followed by ignorance. Overpopulation also plays a key part, but as no one is volunteering to leave, and people have the freedom to be greedy if they want to be, then we must address educating everyone on these very important issues.
