Elizabeth May extends best wishes to all Sikh-Canadians for a peaceful and joyous Vaisakhi.

Vaisakhi celebrates the creation of the Khalsa by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and is also a celebration of thanksgiving for the harvest. Khalsa Day parades will light up city streets across Canada, while friends and family will gather to read sacred texts at Gurdwaras.

Like all Canadians, the Sikh community champions equality, justice and peace. On behalf of Elizabeth May, a joyful Vaisakhi!
