Green Party leader and Saanich-Gulf Islands MP Elizabeth May is calling for a public inquiry into the robo-calls scandal as the first step in a program to clean up Canada’s electoral system.
Speaking from the Opposition Lobby in the House of Commons Tuesday morning, May said the environment in the house is becoming increasingly toxic and a poor place to direct discussion of the widespread complaints of voter suppression in the May 2, 2011 election.
