Every year on September 30\, people are asked to wear orange as a sign of support. \nWear orange and join us for the Xe xe Smun’ eem – Victoria Orange Shirt Day Ceremony: Every Child Matters on Friday\, September 30 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Centennial Square for: \n\nIndigenous performances\nFlag raising\nMinute of silence\nGuest speakers who share their personal experiences with residential schools and reconciliation\n\nRain or shine. Please dress warmly.\nFree. No RSVP required. \nThe ceremony will also be live webcast for those who can’t join us in person. \n\n
