{"id":11266,"date":"2013-06-11T16:49:53","date_gmt":"2013-06-11T20:49:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elizabethmaymp.ca?p=11266"},"modified":"2013-12-09T16:50:57","modified_gmt":"2013-12-09T21:50:57","slug":"first-nations-elections-act-bill-s-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elizabethmaymp.ca\/fr\/first-nations-elections-act-bill-s-6\/","title":{"rendered":"Loi sur les \u00e9lections au sein des premi\u00e8res nations (Le projet de loi S-6)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Elizabeth May :<\/strong> Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, je trouve toujours regrettable que le leader du gouvernement \u00e0 la Chambre des communes nous informe qu&#8217;une attribution de temps nous sera impos\u00e9e et laisse ensuite le ministre responsable du projet de loi expliquer que le gouvernement d\u00e9cide, une fois de plus, de limiter le d\u00e9bat sur le projet de loi. \u00c0 ma connaissance, ce n&#8217;est pas le ministre qui est ici pour r\u00e9pondre aux questions qui a pris cette d\u00e9cision, mais plut\u00f4t le leader du gouvernement \u00e0 la Chambre des communes qui est absent.<\/p>\n<p>Je d\u00e9plore, encore une fois, le fait que le gouvernement ait impos\u00e9 \u00e0 44 reprises l&#8217;attribution de temps au Parlement. C&#8217;est un record. L&#8217;une des cons\u00e9quences in\u00e9vitables de l&#8217;attribution de temps, c&#8217;est que les d\u00e9put\u00e9s qui ne sont pas membres d&#8217;un parti reconnu \u2014 comme moi, en tant que chef du Parti vert \u2014 peuvent seulement participer au d\u00e9bat sur le projet de loi S-6 durant la p\u00e9riode r\u00e9serv\u00e9e aux questions et observations.<\/p>\n<p>Je demande au ministre de bien vouloir persuader ses coll\u00e8gues du Conseil priv\u00e9 de l&#8217;actuel premier ministre de modifier cette tendance antid\u00e9mocratique, car l&#8217;actuel gouvernement entrera dans l&#8217;histoire comme \u00e9tant le plus r\u00e9pressif qu&#8217;ait connu le Canada.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L&#8217;hon. Bernard Valcourt :<\/strong> Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, j&#8217;esp\u00e8re que la d\u00e9put\u00e9e trouvera une certaine consolation dans le fait que ce projet de loi serait b\u00e9n\u00e9fique aux Premi\u00e8res Nations.<\/p>\n<p>Je crois comprendre que de nombreux d\u00e9put\u00e9s d&#8217;en face aiment parler. De ce c\u00f4t\u00e9-ci de la Chambre, toutefois, nous pr\u00e9f\u00e9rons agir, et il s&#8217;agit justement de passer \u00e0 l&#8217;action. Cette mesure l\u00e9gislative est en pr\u00e9paration depuis plus de huit ans. Les Premi\u00e8res Nations assujetties \u00e0 la Loi sur les Indiens ont particip\u00e9 pleinement partout au pays. Il est tout simplement temps d&#8217;adopter ce projet de loi afin que ces Premi\u00e8res Nations puissent en b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elizabeth May :
