Cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s mal re\u00e7u par beaucoup de chefs, qui m&#8217;en ont parl\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Nous savons aussi que le gouvernement de l&#8217;Ontario a choisi de consulter les gens des collectivit\u00e9s de Kanesatake et de Kahnawake sur la mise en place d&#8217;un programme de coop\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 entendre les propos de mon coll\u00e8gue sur le fait que l&#8217;approche f\u00e9d\u00e9rale consiste \u00e0 imposer le projet de loi, m\u00eame si nous aimerions tous voir cesser les activit\u00e9s ill\u00e9gales li\u00e9es au tabac de contrebande, il me semble que cette approche pourrait ne pas avoir l&#8217;effet d\u00e9sir\u00e9 s&#8217;il n&#8217;y a pas d&#8217;abord un effort de coop\u00e9ration. J&#8217;aimerais entendre ses commentaires \u00e0 ce sujet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hoang Mai :<\/strong> Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, c&#8217;est pourquoi nous voulons examiner cela au comit\u00e9, afin de voir ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 fait et les solutions qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9es. Nous savons tous qu&#8217;il faut s&#8217;attaquer au probl\u00e8me de la contrebande, mais nous voulons savoir si le projet de loi S-16 est l&#8217;instrument qui convient pour ce faire.<\/p>\n<p>Bien des questions se posent quant \u00e0 la consultation qui a pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sentation du projet de loi. Nous voulons \u00e9galement entendre des experts. Nous voulons que les gens qui vendent des produits du tabac et sont aux prises avec le probl\u00e8me nous disent si ce projet de loi est ce qu&#8217;il leur faut.
