En d\u00e9cembre, l\u2019Office national de l\u2019\u00e9nergie (ON\u00c9) recommandait l\u2019approbation du projet pipelinier Northern Gateway d\u2019Enbridge, affirmant que les avantages d\u00e9passaient les risques.<\/p>\n

Vous et moi savons qu\u2019il n\u2019en est rien.<\/p>\n

Nous ne devrions donc pas \u00eatre surpris par les recommandations de l\u2019ON\u00c9 \u2013 apr\u00e8s tout, les membres de l\u2019ON\u00c9 n\u2019ont jamais dit \u00ab non \u00bb \u00e0 un projet pipelinier \u2013 mais nous devrions \u00eatre surpris par la faiblesse du rapport de l\u2019ON\u00c9.<\/p>\n

Nous n\u2019avons toujours pas eu d\u2019analyse s\u00e9rieuse \u00e0 propos de l\u2019affirmation selon laquelle il est dans l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e9conomique du Canada de r\u00e9aliser ce projet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La r\u00e9alit\u00e9, c\u2019est qu\u2019avec ce projet, les citoyens canadiens prendront des risques \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle \u00e0 propos de leurs terres et de leur eau alors que les multinationales et les raffineries de pays \u00e9trangers en retireront les avantages \u00e9conomiques.<\/p>\n

Il n\u2019est cependant pas trop tard \u2013 les Conservateurs ont 145 jours pour d\u00e9cider s\u2019ils acceptent les recommandations de l\u2019ON\u00c9, ce qui veut dire que vous avez encore le temps :<\/p>\n

Agissez d\u00e8s maintenant \u2013 ajoutez votre nom \u00e0 ceux de milliers d\u2019autres Canadiens pour dire au gouvernement Harper que ce projet pipelinier n\u2019est pas dans votre int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e9conomique ou environnemental.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Le Canada a besoin d\u2019une \u00e9conomie qui travaille pour nous tous \u2013 une \u00e9conomie qui prend en consid\u00e9ration l\u2019exploitation des ressources de fa\u00e7on durable et qui fait la promotion de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique du Canada tout en cr\u00e9ant des emplois \u00e0 valeur ajout\u00e9e chez-nous. Une \u00e9conomie qui prot\u00e8ge et conserve nos terres et notre eau contre un d\u00e9veloppement imprudent et inconsid\u00e9r\u00e9.<\/p>\n
