Elizabeth May, d\u00e9put\u00e9e de Saanich\u2013Gulf Islands et chef du Parti Vert du Canada, lancera le d\u00e9bat en appui \u00e0 cet important projet de loi.<\/p>\n<p>Ce projet de loi non partisan a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 en premi\u00e8re lecture en juin 2012. Le d\u00e9bat en deuxi\u00e8me lecture conduira \u00e0 un vote en deuxi\u00e8me lecture, probablement en avril. <\/p>\n<p>En premi\u00e8re lecture, le projet de loi a \u00e9t\u00e9 appuy\u00e9 par Madame Kirsty Duncan, d\u00e9put\u00e9e lib\u00e9rale d&#8217;Etobicoke-Nord. Aujourd&#8217;hui, en deuxi\u00e8me lecture, il est appuy\u00e9 par le d\u00e9put\u00e9 conservateur Terence Young, d&#8217;Oakville, qui si\u00e8ge \u00e9galement au Comit\u00e9 permanent de la sant\u00e9. L&#8217;Opposition officielle, le NPD, s&#8217;est \u00e9galement engag\u00e9e \u00e0 soutenir le projet de loi.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Je suis tr\u00e8s encourag\u00e9e et reconnaissante envers les dizaines de d\u00e9put\u00e9s des Communes qui m\u2019ont approch\u00e9e en s\u2019engageant \u00e0 voter pour mon projet l\u00e9gislatif de contrer la maladie de Lyme\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Madame May. \u00ab\u00a0Je suis particuli\u00e8rement redevable \u00e0 Madame la ministre Rona Ambrose pour son soutien. Nous avons convenu qu&#8217;une fois le projet de loi adopt\u00e9 en deuxi\u00e8me lecture et amen\u00e9 en comit\u00e9, quelques amendements y seront utiles Nous parlerons d\u00e9sormais d&#8217;un \u201ccadre f\u00e9d\u00e9ral\u201d favorisant le partage de pratiques d\u2019excellence issues de partout au Canada. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Le projet de loi C-442 s\u2019est d\u00e9j\u00e0 valu des lettres de soutien de la communaut\u00e9 m\u00e9dicale, y compris les appuis de l&#8217;Association m\u00e9dicale canadienne et du Coll\u00e8ge des m\u00e9decins de famille du Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Le Dr Louis Hugo Francescutti, pr\u00e9sident de l&#8217;Association m\u00e9dicale canadienne, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 dans sa lettre : \u00ab\u00a0L&#8217;Association m\u00e9dicale canadienne appuie la mise en \u0153uvre d&#8217;une strat\u00e9gie nationale visant \u00e0 traiter tous les enjeux de sant\u00e9 publique et de m\u00e9decine entourant la propagation de la maladie de Lyme au Canada. Comme face \u00e0 toute nouvelle menace de maladie infectieuse, le Canada doit s\u2019assurer de sa pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 contrer les s\u00e9quelles de la maladie de Lyme sur sa
