Nous pourrions ainsi mieux servir les int\u00e9r\u00eats de tous les Canadiens.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elizabeth May : <\/strong>     Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, \u00e0 mon avis, le contexte l&#8217;explique clairement. Certains d\u00e9put\u00e9s m&#8217;ont demand\u00e9 pourquoi le gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral devrait jouer un r\u00f4le \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard. C&#8217;est notamment d\u00fb au fait que la maladie de Lyme, contrairement \u00e0 d&#8217;autres maladies, est \u00e9vitable. J&#8217;\u00e9tablirais un parall\u00e8le avec les rayons ultraviolets et le cancer de la peau. Une meilleure connaissance et mise en commun des pratiques exemplaires permettrait aux Canadiens de savoir s&#8217;ils se trouvent dans une r\u00e9gion o\u00f9 les tiques infect\u00e9es par la maladie de Lyme sont end\u00e9miques, o\u00f9 qu&#8217;ils aillent au pays. Ils sauraient s&#8217;ils sont dans une r\u00e9gion o\u00f9 ils devraient se montrer plus vigilants qu&#8217;\u00e0 l&#8217;habitude.<\/p>\n<p>    Un meilleur \u00e9change des pratiques exemplaires d&#8217;une province \u00e0 l&#8217;autre permettra au milieu m\u00e9dical d&#8217;en apprendre davantage sur ce que font les m\u00e9decins d&#8217;une r\u00e9gion, et en quoi cela se distingue de ce qui se fait ailleurs au Canada. Un \u00e9change sur les pratiques exemplaires \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chelle du pays fera en sorte que les Canadiens, o\u00f9 qu&#8217;ils habitent, seront mieux prot\u00e9g\u00e9s contre cette terrible
