J&#8217;ai \u00e9cout\u00e9 toute la journ\u00e9e des discours o\u00f9 l&#8217;on a fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence aux cr\u00e9ateurs d&#8217;emplois, aux entreprises. En ce moment, notre taux d&#8217;imposition des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s est tr\u00e8s bas, plus bas que dans n&#8217;importe quel autre pays de l&#8217;OCDE. Cons\u00e9quemment, bien des entreprises am\u00e9ricaines ont transf\u00e9r\u00e9 leurs activit\u00e9s ici afin de payer des imp\u00f4ts au Canada, et non aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9conomistes, de Mark Carney, l&#8217;ex-gouverneur de la Banque du Canada, jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9conomiste de la RBC, ont analys\u00e9 ce qui s&#8217;est pass\u00e9. Les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s ne r\u00e9investissent pas cet argent pour embaucher des Canadiens. Ce ne sont pas des cr\u00e9atrices d&#8217;emplois. \u00c0 la suite de ces importants all\u00e9gements fiscaux, des emplois disparaissent. C&#8217;est ce qu&#8217;on appelle maintenant de l&#8217;argent mort. Plus de 600 milliards de dollars d&#8217;argent mort, soit un stup\u00e9fiant 32 % du PIB, n&#8217;est pas employ\u00e9 par ces soci\u00e9t\u00e9s pour cr\u00e9er des emplois, pour investir au Canada, pour se moderniser.<\/p>\n<p>Je me demande quand le Parti conservateur va reconna\u00eetre que sa strat\u00e9gie est un \u00e9chec et qu&#8217;il n&#8217;existe aucune preuve concr\u00e8te qu&#8217;elle favorise la cr\u00e9ation d&#8217;emplois.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stella Ambler :<\/strong> Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, je ne suis pas d&#8217;accord pour dire qu&#8217;il n&#8217;y a pas de preuves concr\u00e8tes. Les chiffres parlent d&#8217;eux-m\u00eames: il s&#8217;est cr\u00e9\u00e9, net, plus d&#8217;un million d&#8217;emplois. Nous en parlons beaucoup parce que c&#8217;est vraiment important. Nous avons abaiss\u00e9 les imp\u00f4ts et les taxes pour les petites entreprises et nous avons all\u00e9g\u00e9 160 fois le fardeau fiscal du Canadien moyen.<\/p>\n<p>Si mon amie et coll\u00e8gue de Saanich\u2014Gulf Islands ne croit pas que la r\u00e9duction des imp\u00f4ts des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s cr\u00e9e des emplois, alors nous avons un d\u00e9saccord fondamental. Je pense que lorsque le gouvernement s&#8217;abstient de gruger les profits des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s ou des entreprises, celles-ci vont les r\u00e9investir et prendre de l&#8217;expansion. Et lorsqu&#8217;elles le font, elles doivent embaucher davantage de personnel.
