{"id":13185,"date":"2014-09-18T14:00:42","date_gmt":"2014-09-18T18:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elizabethmaymp.ca?p=13185"},"modified":"2014-09-23T11:47:49","modified_gmt":"2014-09-23T15:47:49","slug":"statement-childhood-cancer-awareness-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elizabethmaymp.ca\/fr\/statement-childhood-cancer-awareness-month\/","title":{"rendered":"D\u00e9claration : le Mois de sensibilisation au cancer chez l&#8217;enfant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Elizabeth May : Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, septembre est le Mois de sensibilisation au cancer chez l&#8217;enfant, et je porte un ruban d&#8217;or dans le cadre de la campagne du ruban d&#8217;or.<\/p>\n<p>[QZQPnMudYAg]<\/p>\n<p>Nous n&#8217;y pensons pas souvent, mais le cancer est la principale cause de d\u00e9c\u00e8s attribuables \u00e0 la maladie chez les enfants canadiens, tuant un plus grand nombre d&#8217;entre eux que toutes les autres maladies confondues.<\/p>\n<p>Malheureusement, la recherche n&#8217;\u00e9volue pas assez rapidement. De plus, les traitements pour les adultes, qui sont assez puissants pour presque tuer une personne en sant\u00e9, comme la chimioth\u00e9rapie et la radioth\u00e9rapie, peuvent causer des dommages permanents \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 de nos jeunes, m\u00eame quand ils se r\u00e9tablissent de cette maladie.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;objectif de la campagne du ruban d&#8217;or est de demander plus de recherches sur le cancer p\u00e9diatrique, une plus grande capacit\u00e9 de traiter les enfants de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 ce qu&#8217;ils puissent vraiment se r\u00e9tablir, une aide accrue et davantage de produits sanguins pour les enfants canadiens.<\/p>\n<p>Je porte mon ruban d&#8217;or aujourd&#8217;hui en pensant \u00e0 Stephanie Simmons, qui a entrepris cette campagne \u00e0 London, en Ontario, ainsi qu&#8217;\u00e0 Kaila Remillard, la meilleure amie de ma fille, qui a succomb\u00e9 \u00e0 un cancer des ann\u00e9es apr\u00e8s en avoir souffert et dont la m\u00e8re soutient aussi la campagne de la Fondation canadienne du cancer chez l\u2019enfant.<\/p>\n<p>Aidons nos enfants \u00e0 se pr\u00e9munir contre le cancer, \u00e0 se r\u00e9tablir et \u00e0 \u00eatre en
