Je crains cependant que sa r\u00e9ponse soit \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la plaque.<\/p>\n<p>Nous savons aujourd&#8217;hui que le sous-ministre adjoint d&#8217;Environnement Canada a confirm\u00e9 que nous allions surveiller moins activement l&#8217;ozone. Les appareils du r\u00e9seau Brewer et les ozonosondes ne mesurent pas la m\u00eame chose. Et nous avons absolument besoin des deux. Les appareils du r\u00e9seau Brewer ne fonctionnent que de jour, alors aussi bien dire qu&#8217;ils ne servent \u00e0 rien dans l&#8217;Arctique l&#8217;hiver, puisqu&#8217;il y fait constamment nuit. De leur c\u00f4t\u00e9, les ozonosondes mesurent l&#8217;ozone pr\u00e9sent dans toutes les couches de l&#8217;atmosph\u00e8re, de jour comme de nuit. Nous ne pouvons pas nous permettre de perdre aucun de ces deux types d&#8217;appareils. Impossible de les rationaliser et de les optimiser, et rien ne sert de pr\u00e9tendre qu&#8217;on les remplacera par une nouvelle technologie. Les deux syst\u00e8mes doivent \u00eatre maintenus, et c&#8217;est loin d&#8217;\u00eatre acquis, car le responsable des ozonosondes vient de recevoir cet avis-ci.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michelle Rempel : <\/strong>Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, pour que ce soit parfaitement clair, l&#8217;environnement reste l&#8217;une des principales priorit\u00e9s du gouvernement, m\u00eame en cette p\u00e9riode de restriction budg\u00e9taire.
