Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un taux de popularit\u00e9 parmi les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s et des ressources importantes, Elizabeth May et le caucus du Parti vert pourraient faire pencher l\u2019\u00e9quilibre du pouvoir en leur faveur au Parlement.<\/em><\/p>\n

OTTAWA –\u00a0<\/strong>Une enqu\u00eate\u00a0de la firme EKOS<\/a>\u00a0effectu\u00e9e en janvier pour le compte du site journalistique\u00a0iPolitics<\/em>\u00a0indiquait que la chef du Parti vert du Canada et d\u00e9put\u00e9e de Saanich\u2013Gulf Islands,\u00a0Elizabeth May<\/a>, r\u00e9colte une cote de popularit\u00e9 de 51\u00a0pour\u00a0cent.\u00a0Mme May obtient ainsi l\u2019un des taux les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s parmi les chefs de partis f\u00e9d\u00e9raux.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Ces chiffres tr\u00e8s encourageants nous disent que les Canadiens et les Canadiennes sont \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019une fa\u00e7on diff\u00e9rente de faire de la politique\u00a0\u00bb, croit Mme May. \u00ab\u00a0Les trois partis majeurs, qui accroissent sans cesse leurs comportements partisans, ont suscit\u00e9 la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une large vague d\u2019\u00e9lecteurs et d\u2019\u00e9lectrices d\u00e9senchant\u00e9s. Ces derniers appr\u00e9cient d\u00e9sormais la mani\u00e8re d\u2019agir du Parti vert, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire en fonction du bien commun des citoyens et sans partisanerie.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Dans l\u2019enqu\u00eate de janvier de la firme EKOS pour le compte de\u00a0iPolitics<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0l\u2019appui de la population envers le Parti vert se situait \u00e0 9 pour\u00a0cent \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle nationale et \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 17\u00a0pour\u00a0cent en Colombie-Britannique.<\/p>\n

Frank Graves,<\/a>\u00a0fondateur et pr\u00e9sident de la firme EKOS Research Associates Inc., explique que la cote de popularit\u00e9 d\u2019Elizabeth May indique deux choses\u00a0: elle est reconnue et les gens l\u2019aiment.\u00a0Frank Graves souligne que \u00ab\u00a0les militants verts sont maintenant identifi\u00e9s par leur engagement envers le r\u00e9chauffement climatique, une \u00e9conomie verte et la d\u00e9mocratie\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Le sondage de Frank Graves peut \u00eatre consult\u00e9 sur le site de\u00a0iPolitics\u00a0<\/em><\/a>dans un texte d\u2019opinion\u00a0\u00e9crit par\u00a0L. Ian MacDonald<\/a>, le r\u00e9dacteur en chef de\u00a0Policy Magazine.<\/em>\u00a0L\u2019auteur croit que dans un gouvernement minoritaire, le Parti vert pourrait tr\u00e8s bien faire pencher l\u2019\u00e9quilibre des pouvoirs en sa faveur apr\u00e8s les prochaines \u00e9lections.<\/p>\n

Mme May explique que s\u2019il en \u00e9tait ainsi, les d\u00e9put\u00e9s verts travailleront \u00e9troitement avec les autres partis dans un gouvernement minoritaire pour servir tous les Canadiens et les Canadiennes.<\/p>\n
