Cela suppose que les gens ont le droit de vivre leur vie sans \u00eatre victimes de discrimination en raison de leur race, de leur couleur, de leur religion, de leur origine ethnique, de leurs convictions politiques ou de leur orientation sexuelle. Une majorit\u00e9 de Canadiennes et de Canadiens sont d\u2019accord avec le fait que le Canada ait \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019un des premiers pays \u00e0 sanctionner le mariage entre personnes de m\u00eame sexe. La Charte canadienne des droits et libert\u00e9s et la l\u00e9gislation actuelle interdisent la discrimination. Toutefois, nous devons demeurer vigilants pour veiller \u00e0 ce que ces lois soient respect\u00e9es dans la pratique et dans la prestation de services.<\/p>\n<p>En 1996, le Parti vert du Canada devenait le premier parti politique f\u00e9d\u00e9ral \u00e0 soutenir officiellement l&#8217;inclusion des couples homosexuels dans le mariage civil, et nous sommes ravis de constater que cette question est aujourd\u2019hui r\u00e9gl\u00e9e. Toutefois, les pr\u00e9judices et la discrimination sont encore beaucoup trop pr\u00e9sents dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, et les transgenres sont rarement consid\u00e9r\u00e9s lors de la formulation des lois et des politiques.<\/p>\n<p>Nous envisageons un monde libre de toute discrimination en raison de l\u2019orientation sexuelle, de l\u2019identit\u00e9 de genre et de l\u2019expression de genre, un monde dans lequel toutes les diff\u00e9rences sont accept\u00e9es, voire m\u00eame c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Les d\u00e9put\u00e9s verts :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Amenderont la Loi canadienne sur les droits de la personne pour inclure de fa\u00e7on explicite l\u2019identit\u00e9 de genre et l\u2019expression de genre comme droits reconnus par la Loi.<\/li>\n<li>Amenderont le Code criminel pour inclure l\u2019identit\u00e9 de genre et l\u2019expression de genre dans les dispositions \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard des sentences pour crimes haineux et propagande haineuse.<\/li>\n<li>R\u00e9voqueront l\u2019article 159 du Code criminel.<\/li>\n<li>Soutiendront des mesures de sensibilisation du public pour mettre fin aux pr\u00e9judices et \u00e0 la discrimination en raison de l\u2019orientation sexuelle et de l\u2019identit\u00e9 de genre.<\/li>\n<li>Mettront fin au harc\u00e8lement des librairies et autres entreprises GLBT par les douaniers.<\/li>\n<li>Veilleront \u00e0 ce que le Canada fasse campagne \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle internationale pour mettre fin \u00e0 la discrimination et \u00e0 la violence sanctionn\u00e9e par l\u2019\u00c9tat contre les GLBT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Les Canadiennes et les Canadiens croient \u00e0 l\u2019absence de discrimination.
