Il est actuellement pr\u00e9vu dans la loi f\u00e9d\u00e9rale que les documents produits conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la proc\u00e9dure l\u00e9gislative doivent demeurer dans nos archives. La confidentialit\u00e9 est prot\u00e9g\u00e9e. C&#8217;est le cours normal des choses. C&#8217;est vraiment perturbant pour les archivistes et les historiens de voir que des donn\u00e9es seront d\u00e9truites.<\/p>\n<p>Les noms ne seraient pas utilis\u00e9s, mais les donn\u00e9es historiques ont leur importance. Le gouvernement se rend-il compte qu\u2019il modifie la politique gouvernementale de fa\u00e7on fondamentale?<\/p>\n<p>M. Ray Boughen: Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, encore une fois, je rappelle \u00e0 la d\u00e9put\u00e9e que ces donn\u00e9es sont douteuses sur le plan de l\u2019exactitude. Elles n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 tenues \u00e0 jour. Ce sont des donn\u00e9es qui appartiennent au gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral, et non aux gouvernements provinciaux.
