Paul-Hus. Les agents de l\u2019ASFC traite chaque situation au cas par cas. Ils sont donc des milliers \u00e0 exercer un jugement personnel et subjectif. Ce n\u2019est pas acceptable.<\/p>\n<p>Le ministre pourrait-il \u2014 je l\u2019en implore \u2014 publier une directive ou un avis \u00e0 l\u2019intention de tous les agents de l\u2019ASFC pour veiller \u00e0 ce que, lorsqu\u2019un parent direct sans statut \u2014 mari, femme, enfant d\u2019un citoyen canadien \u2014 se pr\u00e9sente \u00e0 un point d\u2019entr\u00e9e, ce parent soit r\u00e9put\u00e9 autoris\u00e9 \u00e0 entrer au Canada pour un motif essentiel?<\/p>\n<p>Lib. En m\u00eame temps, nous avons collabor\u00e9 avec les provinces et les territoires, en \u00e9coutant les pr\u00e9occupations des Canadiens pour faire en sorte que les d\u00e9placements transfrontaliers, en particulier \u00e0 destination et en provenance des \u00c9tats-Unis, soient limit\u00e9s aux d\u00e9placements essentiels. Comme je l\u2019ai dit, j\u2019ai eu plusieurs conversations importantes et n\u00e9cessaires avec nos partenaires provinciaux et territoriaux. Je crois qu\u2019il y a consensus sur la voie \u00e0 suivre, et nous travaillons avec beaucoup de diligence pour y arriver. Je tiens \u00e0 assurer \u00e0 la d\u00e9put\u00e9e d\u2019en face que nous avons donn\u00e9 des directives tr\u00e8s claires aux agents de l\u2019ASFC. J\u2019estime que nos agents des services frontaliers ont fait, pour nous, un travail extraordinaire dans l\u2019exercice de leur pouvoir discr\u00e9tionnaire.
