Nous ne sommes pas f\u00e2ch\u00e9s d&#8217;avoir perdu des jours de s\u00e9ance en juillet et en ao\u00fbt parce que, j&#8217;en conviens, nous ne si\u00e9geons pas habituellement en \u00e9t\u00e9, mais le gouvernement a \u00e9galement arr\u00eat\u00e9 tous les travaux des comit\u00e9s. Lors d&#8217;une prorogation, la tradition de la Chambre veut que les comit\u00e9s cessent leurs activit\u00e9s. Nous pourrions sans doute discuter de cette possibilit\u00e9 lors d&#8217;une r\u00e9vision des r\u00e8gles.<\/p>\n<p>Je pense qu&#8217;il \u00e9tait appropri\u00e9 \u00e0 ce moment, compte tenu de la nature de la pand\u00e9mie, de proroger la session. Nous avons pu ainsi pr\u00e9senter un nouveau discours du Tr\u00f4ne et \u00e9tablir le plan de match pour les mois, voire les ann\u00e9es, \u00e0 venir.
