I was recently looking at an article by our former parliamentary budget officer, Kevin Page, pointing out that we really cannot continue spending without looking at the revenue side of the ledger.<\/p>\n<p>As the minister looking at middle-class prosperity, when will we look at a wealth tax? We need to find new sources of revenue. The Green Party has been advocating for a wealth tax. I wonder if she has had a look at it. The PBO has costed it and it is viable.<\/p>\n<p>Hon. C&#8217;est en travaillant ensemble que nous allons parvenir \u00e0 traverser cette pand\u00e9mie. La d\u00e9put\u00e9e a mis l&#8217;accent sur la collaboration, et il est important que nous collaborions.<\/p>\n<p>J&#8217;aimerais souligner que le directeur parlementaire du budget fait un travail important pour les parlementaires et tous les Canadiens. Lorsque le Canada a \u00e9t\u00e9 frapp\u00e9 par la crise, il \u00e9tait dans une excellente situation financi\u00e8re par rapport aux autres pays du G7. C&#8217;est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces atouts financiers que nous allons continuer de veiller \u00e0 ce que les Canadiens, les travailleurs et les entreprises obtiennent le soutien dont ils ont besoin. Le Canada a, dans le monde, la r\u00e9putation bien m\u00e9rit\u00e9e de g\u00e9rer modestement et prudemment ses finances. Notre plan demeure financi\u00e8rement viable, et nous continuerons d&#8217;\u00eatre responsables.<\/p>\n<p>Les Canadiens comptent sur le gouvernement pour les aider.
