Je m\u2019associe au d\u00e9put\u00e9 d&#8217;Esquimalt\u2014Saanich\u2014Sooke pour remercier le ministre d&#8217;avoir pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le projet de loi C-6.<\/p>\n<p>Dans que le mesure le gouvernement sera-t-il dispos\u00e9 \u00e0 accepter des amendements qui, sans contrevenir \u00e0 la Charte, permettent d\u2019avancer vers une interdiction plus compl\u00e8te de cette pratique monstrueuse? On ne saurait parler de th\u00e9rapie tellement elle est d\u00e9vastatrice.<\/p>\n<p>Hon. David Lametti (LaSalle\u2014\u00c9mard\u2014Verdun)<br \/>\n2020-10-26 12:28 [p.1204]<\/p>\n<p>Madame la Pr\u00e9sidente, en effet, il faudrait mettre \u00ab th\u00e9rapie \u00bb entre guillemets quand on parle de cette pratique, qui est, j&#8217;en conviens, horrible.<br \/>\nComme je viens de le mentionner au d\u00e9put\u00e9 d&#8217;Esquimalt\u2014Saanich\u2014Sooke, je suis dispos\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9tudier tous les amendements propos\u00e9s de bonne foi qui visent \u00e0 clarifier le projet de loi ou qui cherchent \u00e0 en \u00e9largir les param\u00e8tres dans le respect de la Charte.<\/p>\n<p>Nous voulons que le Canada soit un chef de file \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard et je suis donc pr\u00eat \u00e0 travailler en collaboration avec les d\u00e9put\u00e9s d&#8217;en face pour
