On rel\u00e8ve environ 4 000 cas de suicide chaque ann\u00e9e, soit plus de 10 par jour. Le suicide est la deuxi\u00e8me cause de d\u00e9c\u00e8s chez les jeunes Canadiens \u00e2g\u00e9s de 10 \u00e0 24 ans. Les taux de suicide chez les jeunes Autochtones sont particuli\u00e8rement troublants, \u00e9tant cinq \u00e0 sept fois plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s que chez les non-Autochtones.
