La semaine a commenc\u00e9 par l\u2018annonce d\u2018une entente historique entre les lib\u00e9raux et les n\u00e9o-d\u00e9mocrates qui permettra au parlement minoritaire de tenir jusqu\u2018en 2025.<\/p>\n

La chef int\u00e9rimaire Amita Kuttner, Ph. D., Elizabeth et Mike ont organis\u00e9 une conf\u00e9rence de presse<\/a><\/u> mardi pour r\u00e9agir \u00e0 la nouvelle. Bien qu\u2018ils aient f\u00e9licit\u00e9 le gouvernement pour sa volont\u00e9 de coop\u00e9rer avec les autres partis, Mme Kuttner a qualifi\u00e9 l\u2018entente de d\u00e9cevante, car elle ne fait pas mention du revenu viable garanti ni de la r\u00e9forme \u00e9lectorale. Elle ne pr\u00e9voit pas non plus de mesures sur la crise des opio\u00efdes ni de mesures importantes sur le climat.<\/p>\n

Au cas o\u00f9 vous l\u2018auriez manqu\u00e9, mardi dernier, les d\u00e9put\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rappel\u00e9s au Parlement pour entendre le discours du pr\u00e9sident ukrainien, Volodymyr Zelensky. Elizabeth a livr\u00e9 une r\u00e9ponse<\/a><\/u> \u00e9mouvante au discours du pr\u00e9sident, appelant le gouvernement \u00e0 en faire plus pour aider l\u2018Ukraine.<\/p>\n

P\u00e9riode de questions<\/h3>\n

\u00c0 la p\u00e9riode de questions lundi, Mike a mis en garde le gouvernement contre la privatisation imminente de VIA Rail<\/a><\/u>.<\/p>\n

Lors du d\u00e9bat d\u2018ajournement, mardi soir, Mike a demand\u00e9 au gouvernement d\u2018acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la mise en place d\u2018une prestation canadienne pour personnes handicap\u00e9es<\/a><\/u>.<\/p>\n

Dans une d\u00e9claration qu\u2018il a faite jeudi, Mike a fait part \u00e0 la Chambre d\u2018une histoire de r\u00e9ussite dans sa ville natale : une organisation locale a adopt\u00e9 une approche moderne de pr\u00e9vention et d\u2018\u00e9ducation en mati\u00e8re de violence conjugale qui s\u2018adresse \u00e0 tous les Nord-Am\u00e9ricains. Il s\u2018agit du balado She is Your Neighbour<\/a><\/u>.<\/p>\n

Plus tard ce jour-l\u00e0, lors de la p\u00e9riode de questions, plut\u00f4t que de tomber dans le pi\u00e8ge des nouveaux pipelines, Elizabeth a soulign\u00e9 que les experts de l\u2018Agence internationale de l\u2018\u00e9nergie nous demandent de r\u00e9duire notre consommation de p\u00e9trole pour aider l\u2018Ukraine.
