Si cette mesure l\u00e9gislative devait \u00eatre adopt\u00e9e, ce qui ne fait aucun doute, quelle protection auraient les Canadiens par rapport \u00e0 celle dont ils b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaient avant le d\u00e9p\u00f4t du projet de loi?<\/p>\n<p>[mf4RiJi-Afg]<\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9put\u00e9 a mentionn\u00e9 que certains \u00e9l\u00e9ments perdraient leur raison d&#8217;\u00eatre. Quelles armes ne seraient plus \u00e0 enregistrement obligatoire?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack Harris :<\/strong> Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, pour r\u00e9pondre en deux mots: beaucoup d&#8217;armes. Par exemple, il ne serait plus obligatoire d&#8217;enregistrer l&#8217;arme qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e lors du massacre de la Polytechnique, ni celle qui a servi lors de la fusillade du Coll\u00e8ge Dawson, \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al. Les fusils pour tireur d&#8217;\u00e9lite aussi seraient exempt\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>La liste est longue. Les fusils de chasse \u00e0 canon sci\u00e9 qui sont fabriqu\u00e9s comme tels, c&#8217;est-\u00e0-dire qui ne sont pas con\u00e7us normalement puis sci\u00e9s par la suite, n&#8217;auraient pas besoin d&#8217;\u00eatre enregistr\u00e9s.
