Vous \u00eates sans doute maintenant au courant que le jeudi 23\u00a0f\u00e9vrier, le Ottawa Citizen a rapport\u00e9 l\u2019existence de preuves substantielles indiquant que plusieurs personnes ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019organisation d\u2019une \u00ab\u00a0campagne syst\u00e9mique de suppression des \u00e9lecteurs\u00a0\u00bb lors de la campagne \u00e9lectorale f\u00e9d\u00e9rale de\u00a02011.<\/em><\/p>\n
J\u2019estime qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019un rapport troublant et que les enqu\u00eates connexes men\u00e9es par \u00c9lections Canada et la GRC \u00ab\u00a0pr\u00e9sentent un int\u00e9r\u00eat imm\u00e9diat pour toute la population\u00a0\u00bb, comme l’a exprim\u00e9 le Pr\u00e9sident Anglin en\u00a01978.<\/em><\/p>\n
En soi, cette d\u00e9couverte perturbante constitue une v\u00e9ritable urgence touchant l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9 fondamentale de nos institutions d\u00e9mocratiques dont l\u2019urgence et l\u2019importance sont suffisantes pour faire l\u2019objet d\u2019un d\u00e9bat d\u2019urgence en vertu de l\u2019article\u00a052(1) du R\u00e8glement. Je demande donc l\u2019autorisation de proposer une motion d\u2019ajournement de la Chambre pour nous permettre de discuter de cette affaire pr\u00e9cise et importante dont l\u2019examen s’impose d’urgence.<\/em><\/p>\n
Il est dans l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat fondamental de tous les d\u00e9put\u00e9s de la Chambre des communes de prot\u00e9ger farouchement les institutions d\u00e9mocratiques canadiennes et je m’attends \u00e0 ce que les 308\u00a0d\u00e9put\u00e9s de la Chambre fassent consensus pour demander un d\u00e9bat d’urgence sur cette affaire primordiale.<\/em><\/p>\n
