De ce c\u00f4t\u00e9-ci de la Chambre, nous ne r\u00e9p\u00e9tons pas les messages que nous avons re\u00e7us des entreprises et des gens de nos circonscriptions. J&#8217;en ai re\u00e7u un d&#8217;un \u00e9lecteur de la circonscription de Blackstrap qui travaille chez un courtier d&#8217;assurance local, une petite entreprise, le genre de personne que le NPD pr\u00e9tend repr\u00e9senter.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;\u00e9lecteur \u00e9crit: \u00ab Nous avons une client\u00e8le tr\u00e8s vari\u00e9e, des a\u00een\u00e9s, des agriculteurs, des \u00e9tudiants, des familles, des petites entreprises, ainsi que des \u00e9glises, et nous comptons sur Postes Canada pour envoyer nos polices d&#8217;assurance et autres documents. Dans le cas de la majorit\u00e9 des jeunes gens et des familles vivant en ville, nous envoyons les documents par courriel. Toutefois, dans le cas des a\u00een\u00e9s, des agriculteurs, etc., ces personnes vivent en r\u00e9gion rurale et n&#8217;ont pas les documents qui leur permettraient de confirmer que leurs int\u00e9r\u00eats sont prot\u00e9g\u00e9s. Ils n&#8217;ont pas re\u00e7u d&#8217;avis les informant des risques potentiels auxquels ils sont expos\u00e9s. J&#8217;aimerais savoir combien de gens les d\u00e9put\u00e9s de l&#8217;opposition sont pr\u00eats \u00e0 mettre en situation de vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9, si un malheur frappait les biens ou les investissements laiss\u00e9s sans protection de ces gens-l\u00e0, cela pour d\u00e9fendre les employ\u00e9s des postes afin que ceux-ci obtiennent d&#8217;importantes augmentations de salaire et des pensions g\u00e9n\u00e9reuses, mais tr\u00e8s lourdes \u00e0 assumer \u00e9conomiquement. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Voil\u00e0 ce qu&#8217;\u00e9crit un des \u00e9lecteurs de Blackstrap.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elizabeth May :<\/strong> Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, je remercie la d\u00e9put\u00e9e de son intervention. La d\u00e9put\u00e9e conviendra peut-\u00eatre que mon intervention abordait justement ce probl\u00e8me et que cet \u00e9lecteur ne serait confront\u00e9 \u00e0 aucune de ces difficult\u00e9s si les minist\u00e9riels \u00e9taient pr\u00eats \u00e0 faire un l\u00e9ger compromis et \u00e0 amender un tant soit peu le projet de loi C-6 afin que les gens puissent retourner plus rapidement au travail. Voil\u00e0 tout ce que je demande. Je demande simplement \u00e0 la d\u00e9put\u00e9e d&#8217;en tenir compte lorsqu&#8217;elle fait part \u00e0 la Chambre de pr\u00e9occupations qui sont, pour le reste, importantes et justifi\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>J&#8217;ai re\u00e7u des courriels semblables. J&#8217;en ai lu un hier, \u00e0 la Chambre, envoy\u00e9 par un journal local qui ne peut plus livrer ses journaux.
