Habituellement, le d\u00e9put\u00e9 se fonde davantage sur les faits.<\/p>\n<p>Il ressort clairement que le gouvernement prend le parti de l&#8217;employeur. Plut\u00f4t que de chercher une solution au lock-out, attribuable au fait que le gouvernement a permis \u00e0 l&#8217;employeur de prendre une telle mesure, nous sommes maintenant saisis d&#8217;un projet de loi qui ne r\u00e8gle pas le probl\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<p>La d\u00e9put\u00e9e ne partage-t-elle pas l&#8217;avis de nos coll\u00e8gues qui ont dit au cours des derni\u00e8res heures que l&#8217;approche la plus prudente et la plus responsable que le gouvernement pourrait prendre serait de lever le lock-out et de permettre la reprise de la n\u00e9gociation? Le gouvernement devrait tout simplement permettre aux travailleurs des postes de rentrer au travail comme ils le souhaitent, pour servir les Canadiens et faire en sorte que le courrier&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mme Elizabeth May :<\/strong> Madame la Pr\u00e9sidente, je suis d&#8217;accord avec le d\u00e9put\u00e9 de Burnaby\u2014New Westminster sur un point, mais pas sur l&#8217;autre.<\/p>\n<p>J&#8217;estime qu&#8217;on ne peut en aucun cas qualifier de path\u00e9tiques les interventions du d\u00e9put\u00e9 de Wellington\u2014Halton Hills. C&#8217;est tout \u00e0 fait inappropri\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, je suis tout \u00e0 fait d&#8217;accord pour dire qu&#8217;il serait effectivement prudent que le gouvernement ordonne \u00e0 Postes Canada de lever le lock-out pour que la n\u00e9gociation collective reprenne librement comme il se doit.<\/p>\n<p>Sur le plan juridique, l&#8217;employeur avait le droit d&#8217;imposer un lock-out et le syndicat avait le droit de recourir aux gr\u00e8ves tournantes.
