{"id":389,"date":"2011-06-23T13:33:59","date_gmt":"2011-06-23T13:33:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.elizabethmaymp.ca\/?p=389"},"modified":"2014-09-26T10:24:36","modified_gmt":"2014-09-26T14:24:36","slug":"resumption-and-continuation-of-postal-services-legislation-q","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elizabethmaymp.ca\/fr\/resumption-and-continuation-of-postal-services-legislation-q\/","title":{"rendered":"Loi pr\u00e9voyant la reprise et le maintien des services postaux"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Elizabeth May : <\/strong>Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, j&#8217;ai bien aim\u00e9 les observations du d\u00e9put\u00e9 de St. John&#8217;s-Est et certaines des observations faites ant\u00e9rieurement au sujet de l&#8217;histoire des syndicats, que certains minist\u00e9riels remettent en question.<\/p>\n<p>Je me souviens d&#8217;un vieux mineur de charbon \u00e0 la retraite de la r\u00e9gion industrielle du Cap-Breton qui m&#8217;a dit qu&#8217;il devait avoir commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler dans les mines \u00e0 un tr\u00e8s jeune \u00e2ge et il s&#8217;est rappel\u00e9 combien il \u00e9tait jeune lorsqu&#8217;il s&#8217;est souvenu d&#8217;\u00eatre rentr\u00e9 \u00e0 la maison en pleurant et en disant \u00e0 sa m\u00e8re: \u00ab Tu aurais d\u00fb me le dire. \u00bb Il \u00e9tait mineur de charbon \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9poque. Elle a r\u00e9pondu: \u00ab Qu&#8217;est-ce que j&#8217;aurais d\u00fb te dire? \u00bb Il a r\u00e9pondu: \u00ab Tu aurais d\u00fb me dire que le P\u00e8re No\u00ebl n&#8217;existe pas. \u00bb C&#8217;est vous dire combien il \u00e9tait jeune lorsqu&#8217;il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler dans les mines.<\/p>\n<p>Est-ce que le d\u00e9put\u00e9 de St. John&#8217;s-Est est d&#8217;accord avec moi pour dire que les syndicats nous ont beaucoup apport\u00e9, mais qu&#8217;ils ne doivent pas \u00eatre id\u00e9alis\u00e9s et glorifi\u00e9s? Tout change avec le temps et tous les syndicats ne sont pas parfaits et toutes les entreprises ne sont pas mauvaises. Qu&#8217;a-t-il \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cela?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack Harris :<\/strong> Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, je suis assez \u00e9tonn\u00e9 d&#8217;entendre cela de la bouche de la d\u00e9put\u00e9e de Saanich\u2014Gulf Islands. Je ne me souviens pas d&#8217;avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi id\u00e9aliste que la d\u00e9put\u00e9e elle-m\u00eame l&#8217;a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9, de croire que l&#8217;on pouvait trouver la perfection autour de nous pendant toute notre vie, et je ne voudrais pas que l&#8217;on m&#8217;accuse d&#8217;une telle chose. De toute \u00e9vidence, nous vivons dans un monde d\u00e9mocratique o\u00f9 les gens peuvent \u00eatre en d\u00e9saccord et o\u00f9 les gens ont des degr\u00e9s d&#8217;id\u00e9alisme diff\u00e9rents li\u00e9s \u00e0 leur travail.<\/p>\n<p>Toutefois, je vous dirai que, au cours des 100 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, les syndicats ont fait plus de bien que n&#8217;importe quelle autre institution \u00e0 laquelle je peux penser pour am\u00e9liorer le sort non seulement de leurs propres membres, mais \u00e9galement des travailleurs dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Les syndicats ont apport\u00e9 beaucoup de progr\u00e8s et un sens plus pouss\u00e9 de l&#8217;\u00e9galit\u00e9.
