Le Parti vert du Canada a emboit\u00e9 le pas aux citoyennes et citoyens qui demandent au gouvernement du Manitoba d\u2019interjeter appel de la peine prononc\u00e9e contre Graham\u00a0James. L\u2019ancien entra\u00eeneur de hockey s\u2019est vu infliger une peine de deux\u00a0ans seulement pour avoir abus\u00e9 sexuellement de jeunes gar\u00e7ons dont il avait la supervision.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Nous craignons beaucoup que cette peine beaucoup trop l\u00e9g\u00e8re ait un effet d\u00e9vastateur sur d\u2019autres victimes, qui risquent d\u2019h\u00e9siter \u00e0 d\u00e9noncer leur bourreau, puisqu\u2019elles ne semblent pas \u00eatre prises au s\u00e9rieux\u00a0\u00bb, a dit la chef des verts et d\u00e9put\u00e9e de Saanich\u2014Gulf\u00a0Islands Elizabeth\u00a0May. \u00ab\u00a0Cet homme pourrait \u00eatre lib\u00e9r\u00e9 de prison d\u2019ici la fin de l\u2019ann\u00e9e. La peine ne semble pas correspondre \u00e0 la gravit\u00e9 du crime.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Nous esp\u00e9rons \u00e9galement qu\u2019il pourra suivre un traitement en plus de purger sa peine. Les victimes m\u00e9ritent de savoir que l\u2019\u00c9tat fait tout son possible pour s\u2019assurer que ce p\u00e9dophile ne fasse pas de mal \u00e0 un autre enfant\u00a0\u00bb, a ajout\u00e9 May.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
