Le projet de loi S-5 permettrait de moderniser certains \u00e9l\u00e9ments. Il aurait pu aller plus loin.<\/p>\n<p>Toutefois, j&#8217;ai bien aim\u00e9 la fa\u00e7on dont chaque parti s&#8217;attribue la paternit\u00e9 de certaines id\u00e9es. Le Parti conservateur veut qu&#8217;on pense que, si notre syst\u00e8me bancaire a si bien travers\u00e9 la r\u00e9cession, c&#8217;est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 lui. Les n\u00e9o-d\u00e9mocrates, semble-t-il, pensent que c&#8217;est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 eux. Je d\u00e9clare, \u00e0 titre de chef du Parti vert du Canada, que notre parti n&#8217;a contribu\u00e9 en rien \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger notre syst\u00e8me bancaire.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Nous sommes tous redevables \u00e0 l&#8217;ancien ministre lib\u00e9ral des Finances, Paul Martin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kevin Lamoureux :<\/strong> Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, je suppose que j&#8217;ai pass\u00e9 un peu trop de temps, au d\u00e9but de mon intervention, \u00e0 tenter de remettre les pendules \u00e0 l&#8217;heure. Je crois sinc\u00e8rement, en relisant et en \u00e9coutant de grandes parties du d\u00e9bat sur le projet de loi, que des personnes comme Paul Martin, ancien ministre des Finances, et Jean Chr\u00e9tien ont prot\u00e9g\u00e9 l&#8217;industrie en veillant \u00e0 la mise en place des r\u00e8glements actuels.<\/p>\n<p>Je ne cherchais pas tant \u00e0 en donner le m\u00e9rite \u00e0 ces deux personnes qu&#8217;\u00e0 \u00e9viter que nous r\u00e9\u00e9crivions l&#8217;histoire parce que d&#8217;autres d\u00e9put\u00e9s tentent de s&#8217;attribuer un m\u00e9rite qui ne leur revient pas.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elizabeth May : Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, j&#8217;ai aim\u00e9 le d\u00e9bat sur le projet de loi, que j&#8217;appuie.
