{"id":4409,"date":"2012-04-05T12:51:33","date_gmt":"2012-04-05T16:51:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elizabethmaymp.ca?p=4409"},"modified":"2012-06-22T16:04:41","modified_gmt":"2012-06-22T20:04:41","slug":"fish-inspection-act-bill-c-417","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elizabethmaymp.ca\/fr\/fish-inspection-act-bill-c-417\/","title":{"rendered":"Le projet de loi C-417 &#8211; La Loi sur l&#8217;inspection du poisson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Elizabeth May, appuy\u00e9e par le d\u00e9put\u00e9 de Richmond\u2014Arthabaska, demande \u00e0 pr\u00e9senter le projet de loi C-417, Loi modifiant la Loi sur l\u2019inspection du poisson et la Loi sur l\u2019emballage et l\u2019\u00e9tiquetage des produits de consommation (importation et \u00e9tiquetage du requin).<\/p>\n<p>[M-TLEAcrRgU]<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, c&#8217;est la premi\u00e8re fois que j&#8217;ai l&#8217;occasion de pr\u00e9senter un projet de loi d&#8217;initiative parlementaire \u00e0 la Chambre. Ce projet de loi compl\u00e8te une autre mesure pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e \u00e0 la Chambre concernant la pratique d\u00e9vastatrice qui consiste \u00e0 pr\u00e9lever l&#8217;aileron des requins dans le but d&#8217;en faire un mets rare et recherch\u00e9 dans la culture chinoise. La soupe d&#8217;aileron de requin est la principale menace \u00e0 la survie de certaines esp\u00e8ces de requins. Plus de 70 millions de requins sont tu\u00e9s chaque ann\u00e9e pour fournir l&#8217;ingr\u00e9dient de base de ce mets.<\/p>\n<p>Ce projet de loi tente d&#8217;aider les consommateurs au moyen d&#8217;un \u00e9tiquetage appropri\u00e9. Il s&#8217;agit manifestement d&#8217;une mesure l\u00e9gislative ax\u00e9e sur l&#8217;\u00e9tiquetage, qui vise \u00e0 faire cesser le commerce et la consommation d&#8217;ailerons de requins. En r\u00e9sum\u00e9, le projet de loi porte sur le fait que le requin, en tant que pr\u00e9dateur situ\u00e9 au sommet de la cha\u00eene alimentaire, contient des niveaux \u00e9lev\u00e9s de mercure. En ce moment, il n&#8217;existe aucun mise en garde \u00e0 cet effet.
