Geoff Regan :<\/strong> Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, je remercie la d\u00e9put\u00e9e de Saanich\u2014Gulf Islands de ses observations aujourd&#8217;hui, et je la f\u00e9licite.<\/p>\n<p>Je voudrais lui poser une question, mais je voudrais tout d&#8217;abord lui rappeler quelque chose. Elle \u00e9tait peut-\u00eatre ici un mercredi il y a environ deux mois lorsqu&#8217;on achevait la deuxi\u00e8me lecture de ce projet de loi. Le chef du Parti lib\u00e9ral parlait du projet de loi et disait que le gouvernement n&#8217;\u00e9tait pas favorable \u00e0 des amendements. Je me souviens qu&#8217;en face, on a entendu le ministre du Patrimoine canadien et des Langues officielles dire \u00ab Je vous parie 10 000 $ que nous aurons des amendements \u00bb, laissant entendre qu&#8217;il y aurait des amendements de taille.<\/p>\n<p>En fait, les amendements \u00e9taient minuscules et presque insignifiants, et ont tr\u00e8s peu chang\u00e9 l&#8217;orientation g\u00e9n\u00e9rale du projet de loi sur des questions comme l&#8217;\u00e9ducation et les verrous num\u00e9riques. Je me demande ce qu&#8217;en pense la d\u00e9put\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elizabeth May :<\/strong> Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, je remercie le d\u00e9put\u00e9 d&#8217;Halifax de sa question. J&#8217;aime le sens de la r\u00e9partie du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et des Langues officielles en face.<\/p>\n<p>J&#8217;aimerais sugg\u00e9rer quelque chose au ministre du Patrimoine s&#8217;il veut gagner son pari et apparemment 10 000 $ sont en jeu. Je me souviens de cette conversation maintenant qu&#8217;on me l&#8217;a rappel\u00e9e. J&#8217;\u00e9tais ici \u00e0 la Chambre ce jour-l\u00e0. Je pense que le ministre du Patrimoine voudrait bien gagner son pari et c&#8217;est pour cette raison que j&#8217;exhorte les d\u00e9put\u00e9s du parti conservateur \u00e0 appuyer les amendements que je propose.<\/p>\n<p>Sinon, le d\u00e9put\u00e9 d&#8217;Halifax-Ouest a tout \u00e0 fait raison: jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, les changements sont infimes, sont de pure forme et ne traduisent pas la volont\u00e9 de modifier l&#8217;orientation globale de ce projet de loi.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[6j9Y5SkRpc8] L&#8217;hon.
