Ils sont venus \u00e0 Ottawa pour exhorter les d\u00e9put\u00e9s \u00e0 ne pas oublier qu&#8217;une fuite dans un ol\u00e9oduc ne ruine pas que l&#8217;environnement, mais des familles et des vies \u00e9galement.<\/p>\n<p>Gord Johnston a grandi sur une propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de 23 hectares o\u00f9 sa famille habite maintenant et qui est situ\u00e9e aux abords de la rivi\u00e8re Red Deer. Cette magnifique rivi\u00e8re est devenue une mare de p\u00e9trole qui a maintenant contamin\u00e9 toute leur propri\u00e9t\u00e9. Bonnie et Gord \u00e9taient en larmes lorsqu&#8217;ils ont implor\u00e9 les d\u00e9put\u00e9s de ne pas oublier ce qui arrive lorsqu&#8217;il y a affaiblissement de la r\u00e9glementation environnementale.<\/p>\n<p>Ils m&#8217;ont demand\u00e9 de communiquer leur message aujourd&#8217;hui.
