En vertu de cette mesure, les personnes venant d&#8217;un pays ne n\u00e9cessitant pas de visa du gouvernement du Canada devraient \u00eatre assujetties \u00e0 une v\u00e9rification \u00e9lectronique avant de pouvoir visiter le Canada. Cette mesure ne s&#8217;appliquerait ni aux personnes demandant le statut de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9, ni \u00e0 celles qui souhaitent devenir des r\u00e9sidents permanents. Tous les voyageurs qui veulent visiter le Canada, par exemple un m\u00e9decin britannique qui a toujours r\u00eav\u00e9 de parcourir le Canada en train, devraient d&#8217;abord remplir un questionnaire en ligne et attendre ensuite que le ministre de l\u2019Immigration d\u00e9termine s&#8217;ils peuvent entrer au pays.<\/p>\n<p>Comment cette mesure est-elle favorable au tourisme et, par extension, \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d&#8217;emplois?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Royal Galipeau<\/strong> : Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, la cr\u00e9ation d&#8217;emplois est tr\u00e8s importante pour le Canada. Les faits sont \u00e9loquents. Depuis le creux de la r\u00e9cession, nous avons cr\u00e9\u00e9 plus de 820 000 emplois.<\/p>\n<p>Pour \u00eatre franc, j&#8217;approuverais toutes les mesures qui permettraient de garantir que les
