Ils visent \u00e0 obliger le ministre \u00e0 prendre en consid\u00e9ration la pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rance des probabilit\u00e9s ainsi qu&#8217;\u00e0 assujettir le pouvoir discr\u00e9tionnaire du ministre \u00e0 un plus grand nombre de crit\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>Quiconque a lu mes amendements ne pourrait croire que mon objectif est de garder des criminels \u00e9trangers dangereux au Canada. De plus, je suis extr\u00eamement insult\u00e9e par les propos de la d\u00e9put\u00e9e qui, citant s\u00fbrement les notes d&#8217;allocution pr\u00e9par\u00e9es par le Cabinet du premier ministre, a affirm\u00e9 que les d\u00e9put\u00e9s de ce c\u00f4t\u00e9-ci de la Chambre ne se soucient pas des victimes.<\/p>\n<p>[P4SZZGQjVLA]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roxanne James : <\/strong>Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, je m&#8217;excuse aupr\u00e8s de la d\u00e9put\u00e9e d&#8217;en face de ne pas avoir mentionn\u00e9 le Parti vert dans mon intervention. Malheureusement, comme elle le sait, ce parti n&#8217;a pas de statut officiel \u00e0 la Chambre puisqu&#8217;il poss\u00e8de un seul si\u00e8ge. En outre, il n&#8217;est pas repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 au Comit\u00e9 de l&#8217;immigration.<\/p>\n<p>Cela dit, j&#8217;aimerais souligner que cette mesure l\u00e9gislative vise trois objectifs. Elle facilite le renvoi par le gouvernement de dangereux criminels \u00e9trangers. Elle rend plus difficile l&#8217;entr\u00e9e au pays de personnes posant un risque pour le Canada. De plus, la mesure l\u00e9gislative \u00e9limine les obstacles pour les personnes de bonne foi qui veulent venir au Canada et acc\u00e9l\u00e8re le processus. Il est important de le souligner parce que les partis de l&#8217;opposition ne le mentionnent pas souvent dans leurs questions.
