Je parle de nos victoires, rares mais pr\u00e9ciseuses.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019annonce de l\u2019abandon de la soi-disant \u00ab Loi sur la protection des enfants contre les cyberpr\u00e9dateurs \u00bb, d\u2019abord appel\u00e9e \u00ab Loi sur l\u2019acc\u00e8s licite \u00bb puis rebaptis\u00e9 \u00ab Loi sur l\u2019espionnage en ligne \u00bb par openmedia.ca, le projet de loi C\u201130, a de quoi nous r\u00e9jouir.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de succ\u00e8s de cette campagne sont importants et nous ferions bien d\u2019en prendre bonne note pour la prochaine campagne. Je doute fort que ce projet de loi n\u2019ait \u00e9t\u00e9 retir\u00e9 si la cybercommunaut\u00e9 ne s\u2019en \u00e9tait pas m\u00eal\u00e9e. Les efforts acharn\u00e9s d\u2019openmedia.ca ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9terminants. Les annonces t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9es de grande qualit\u00e9 qu\u2019ils ont pr\u00e9par\u00e9es ont connu une popularit\u00e9 exceptionnelle sur YouTube et dans les m\u00e9dias et ont largement contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 sensibiliser le grand public sur la question, beaucoup plus que les publicit\u00e9s pay\u00e9es.  <\/p>\n<p>Certains croient que la r\u00e9ponse de Vic Toews, qui affirmait que les gens avaient deux choix, \u00ab se joindre \u00e0 nous ou aux adeptes de pornographie juv\u00e9nile \u00bb, \u00e9tait une gaffe. Je crois que le fait de placer les opposants au programme du gouvernement dans le m\u00eame panier que les adeptes de pornographie juv\u00e9nile \u00e9tait un stratag\u00e8me de propagande approuv\u00e9 par le Bureau du PM. Autrement, pourquoi avoir d\u00e9cid\u00e9 \u00e0 la derni\u00e8re minute de modifier le titre pour passer d\u2019une \u00ab Loi sur l\u2019acc\u00e8s licite \u00bb \u00e0 une \u00ab Loi sur la protection des enfants contre les cyberpr\u00e9dateurs \u00bb? Ce changement \u00e9tait si inattendu que lors de la premi\u00e8re lecture, les exemplaires du projet de loi distribu\u00e9s au huis clos et dans l\u2019antichambre de l\u2019opposition ne portaient m\u00eame pas le bon titre. Toutes les versions en circulation affichaient le titre \u00ab Loi sur l\u2019acc\u00e8s licite \u00bb. Seul le Bureau du Premier ministre aurait pu approuver un tel changement de titre.<\/p>\n<p>Je doute que ce soit la fin des d\u00e9marches pour \u00e9liminer les obstacles \u00e0 l\u2019acc\u00e8s sans mandat, mais nous devrions prendre un moment pour dire \u00ab merci \u00bb \u00e0 openmedia.ca ainsi qu\u2019aux innombrables personnes qui ont pris le temps de signer des p\u00e9titions, d\u2019\u00e9crire des lettres et de faire circuler le message dans les m\u00e9dias sociaux.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est la preuve d\u00e9finitive que la mobilisation citoyenne fonctionne!! \u00c0 pr\u00e9sent, nous devons nous motiver les uns les autres et utiliser les outils \u00e0 notre disposition pour surveiller l\u2019apparition de nouveaux projets de loi ayant les m\u00eames intentions que le projet de loi C\u201130. Nous devons \u00e9galement reconna\u00eetre le potentiel de cette victoire pour r\u00e9clamer des gestes concrets en mati\u00e8re de climat, de justice pour les Premi\u00e8res Nations et de protection des eaux et de nos milieux sauvages. En fin de compte, ce sont les outils qui permettent au citoyen de d\u00e9fendre la d\u00e9mocratie qui seront les plus d\u00e9terminants dans le combat le plus important de notre vie.<\/p>\n<p>Alors, disons merci! R\u00e9jouissons-nous!
