Nous avons clairement besoin de plus de transparence au sein de la GRC, particuli\u00e8rement en raison du t\u00e9moignage de M. Kennedy, ancien pr\u00e9sident de la Commission des plaintes du public contre la GRC.<\/p>\n<p>Selon mon coll\u00e8gue, pourquoi s&#8217;oppose-t-on \u00e0 ces amendements tr\u00e8s importants et tr\u00e8s sages, qui ont m\u00eame \u00e9t\u00e9 soulign\u00e9s par des experts?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jamie Nicholls:\u00a0<\/strong>Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, ma coll\u00e8gue de Saanich\u2014Gulf Islands soul\u00e8ve un excellent point.<\/p>\n<p>Les amendements que nous avons propos\u00e9s \u00e9taient raisonnables. On a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lus \u00e0 la Chambre en 2011 pour travailler ensemble. C&#8217;est la promesse que nous avons faite aux Canadiens.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsqu&#8217;on a entendu en comit\u00e9 le t\u00e9moignage d&#8217;experts relativement \u00e0 divers incidents survenus au sein de la GRC, tels que le cas de Robert Dziekanski ou d&#8217;autres incidents concernant le harc\u00e8lement sexuel, on aurait vraiment d\u00fb r\u00e9gler ce probl\u00e8me au sein de la GRC, car on avait la chance de le faire.<\/p>\n<p>En r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la question de ma coll\u00e8gue, je dirais que si les conservateurs n&#8217;ont pas \u00e9cout\u00e9 nos suggestions raisonnables, appuy\u00e9es par les experts, et s&#8217;ils n&#8217;ont pas voulu travailler \u00e0 l&#8217;am\u00e9lioration de leur propre projet de loi, c&#8217;est tout simplement parce qu&#8217;ils ont peur de faire preuve de faiblesse et d&#8217;appara\u00eetre comme des faibles s&#8217;ils acceptent nos suggestions.<\/p>\n<p>Les Canadiens veulent que tous les d\u00e9put\u00e9s travaillent ensemble \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9laboration de projets de loi qui ont du sens, qui r\u00e8glent des probl\u00e8mes et qui font avancer le pays, plut\u00f4t que de jouer \u00e0 des jeux partisans au sein des comit\u00e9s pour ne pas accepter les suggestions d&#8217;amendements.<\/p>\n<p>Je ne m&#8217;explique pas pourquoi les conservateurs s&#8217;opposent tant aux suggestions raisonnables de l&#8217;opposition.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elizabeth May:\u00a0 Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, je veux aussi remercier mon coll\u00e8gue de son allocution.
