Pour le projet de loi C-55, la Cour supr\u00eame a exig\u00e9 que le Parlement d\u00e9veloppe une d\u00e9finition claire de \u00ab policier \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Ce n&#8217;est pas un officier de la paix, mais un policier. Il y a peut-\u00eatre un probl\u00e8me dans les mots \u00ab ou de toute autre personne charg\u00e9e du maintien de la paix publique \u00bb. Peut-\u00eatre s&#8217;agit-il l\u00e0 du probl\u00e8me? Je pose la question \u00e0 ma coll\u00e8gue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Laverdi\u00e8re<\/strong> :\u00a0Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, c&#8217;est en effet toute autre personne charg\u00e9e du maintien de la paix publique. Tant qu&#8217;il n&#8217;y a pas de d\u00e9finition claire, on parle d&#8217;un potentiel de violation des droits fondamentaux des Canadiens.
