Nous en sommes \u00e0 la 43e \u00e9dition annuelle de cette c\u00e9l\u00e9bration. Vous m&#8217;excuserez cependant de ne pas avoir le coeur \u00e0 la f\u00eate. La seule motion inscrite \u00e0 l&#8217;ordre du jour qui porte moindrement sur l&#8217;environnement est celle du NPD, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e au cours de la derni\u00e8re journ\u00e9e de l&#8217;opposition, visant \u00e0 emp\u00eacher la ratification du trait\u00e9 sur les investissements entre le Canada et la Chine.<\/p>\n<p>[-ce5bGysRxw]<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eame si nous devrions tous voter contre la ratification de ce trait\u00e9, je peux d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9dire que la motion sera d\u00e9faite. Ce sera d&#8217;ailleurs une honte terrible, car cela voudra dire que la Chambre n&#8217;aura pas tenu la moindre journ\u00e9e d&#8217;audience, qu&#8217;elle n&#8217;aura pas consacr\u00e9 une seule journ\u00e9e aux experts pr\u00eats \u00e0 venir t\u00e9moigner pour expliquer ce qu&#8217;il faut savoir \u00e0 propos de ce trait\u00e9 extraordinaire qui conf\u00e9rera \u00e0 la R\u00e9publique populaire de Chine et \u00e0 ses dirigeants communistes le droit de nous poursuivre et qui nous liera durant 31 ans.<\/p>\n<p>Alors que l&#8217;ALENA nous lie durant six mois, le nouveau trait\u00e9 qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pos\u00e9 apr\u00e8s le trait\u00e9 avec la Chine le fera pour 16 ans. Pourtant, il n&#8217;y a pas eu une seule journ\u00e9e d&#8217;audience \u00e0 ce sujet.
