C&#8217;est pourquoi j&#8217;ai propos\u00e9 des amendements pour aborder la question qu&#8217;il a soulev\u00e9e, des amendements visant \u00e0 emp\u00eacher le vice-chef d&#8217;\u00e9tat-major de la D\u00e9fense de donner des instructions \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9gard d&#8217;une enqu\u00eate. C&#8217;est une question que Michel Drapeau a abord\u00e9e dans son t\u00e9moignage.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Est-ce que le maire pourrait donner des directives au chef de la police d&#8217;Ottawa, m\u00eame par \u00e9crit, au sujet d&#8217;une enqu\u00eate en particulier? La r\u00e9ponse est non. Le premier ministre pourrait-il en faire autant aupr\u00e8s de la GRC? La r\u00e9ponse est un non cat\u00e9gorique.
