J\u2019ai tr\u00e8s souvent \u00e9t\u00e9 approch\u00e9e par des personnes handicap\u00e9es qui ont \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 entrer sur le march\u00e9 du travail.<\/p>\n<p>Est-ce que le d\u00e9put\u00e9 pourrait nous dire d\u2019une fa\u00e7on tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cise de quelle fa\u00e7on sa motion inciterait les employeurs \u00e0 reconna\u00eetre le potentiel, la valeur et les qualit\u00e9s des personnes handicap\u00e9es qu\u2019ils pourraient embaucher?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phil McColeman : <\/strong>Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident, c\u2019est une excellente question.<\/p>\n<p>Pendant la p\u00e9riode que nous avons pass\u00e9e \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer cela, un grand \u00e9lan s&#8217;amor\u00e7ait dans le secteur priv\u00e9 canadien. Il y a des gens comme Mark Wafer, qui poss\u00e8de beaucoup de franchises Tim Hortons et qui emploie plus de 70 personnes handicap\u00e9es dans la r\u00e9gion de Toronto. Il y a le chef des ressources humaines de Loblaws. Loblaws a inscrit dans ses politiques un mandat disant que, pour combler les postes vacants, il faut en priorit\u00e9 accorder des entrevues \u00e0 des personnes handicap\u00e9es. C\u2019est un \u00e9lan admirable, qui se communique souvent d&#8217;une personne \u00e0 l&#8217;autre. Ce sont des gens d\u2019affaires qui se parlent entre eux. Mark Wafer l\u2019a fait parmi les membres du Rotary. Il a un merveilleux message qu\u2019il transmet partout dans le pays. Il apparie des gens d\u2019affaires pour qu\u2019ils parlent de ces magnifiques exp\u00e9riences. Nous voulons faire fond sur ce mouvement.<\/p>\n<p>Le rapport du groupe de travail est le vrai point de d\u00e9part, le vrai tremplin.
