Les Canadiens sont encore trop nombreux \u00e0 \u00eatre contraints de vivre handicap\u00e9s et priv\u00e9s de leur famille et amis ou d&#8217;abandonner leur carri\u00e8re ou leurs \u00e9tudes \u00e0 cause de la maladie de Lyme. Il faut sensibiliser le grand public et le personnel m\u00e9dical \u00e0 l\u2019incidence accrue et aux nombreuses manifestations de cette maladie \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la chef du Parti vert du Canada et d\u00e9put\u00e9e de Saanich-Gulf Islands, Mme Elizabeth May.<\/p>\n<p>La maladie de Lyme est caus\u00e9e par une infection bact\u00e9rienne propag\u00e9e aux humains et aux animaux par la morsure de certaines esp\u00e8ces de tiques, notamment la tique occidentale \u00e0 pattes moires et la tique du cerf.
