]]> The Green Party of Canada wishes a happy holiday to everyone around the world celebrating Passover, which begins today at sundown.

Passover commemorates liberation from oppression, serving as a reminder of the importance of peace, freedom, perseverance and respect for diversity.  Greens defend the right of all persons to belong to a society supportive of their dignity, health, and spiritual well-being. We join the Jewish Community in celebrating the blessings of a free society, while remembering those who are still not free from discrimination and persecution.
