Elizabeth May, MP for Saanich–Gulf Islands and Leader of the Green Party of Canada, will be in Victoria, BC for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, 2024.

She will join the Songhees First Nation for their annual South Island Powwow, which is an opportunity to recognise Survivors and their families in the spirit of reconciliation and celebrate Indigenous cultures and resiliency through song and dance.
