Salt Spring Pride!

Diverse and Inclusive Salt Spring Island is delighted to be hosting the first ever Pride Festival from Friday, July 28th through Monday, July 31st. The Pride Parade itself will be held on Saturday, July 29th at noon.

The festival site is extensive and includes a Dance Hall, Outdoor Stage, Pop-Up Open Mic, Kid Zone, covered booths, seniors and elders shaded rest area. In addition to regular festivities, there is also a camping component on the institute grounds. This is a great opportunity for the community to gather on Salt Spring in one place and to have a transformative experience of belonging, safety and celebration.
