Elizabeth May sets off on the western leg of the Community Matters Tour

OTTAWA ― After a successful tour of Quebec and the Maritime provinces earlier this month, Green Party leader Elizabeth May (MP, Saanich-Gulf Islands) will be in Prince George B.C. next week to kick off the second leg of her cross-country journey to talk to Canadians.

The Community Matters Tour is giving Canadians an opportunity to share their ideas and concerns on local and national issues with the Green Party Leader, local candidates and members of the electoral district associations. Starting March 2 in Prince George, the western leg of the tour will also take her to Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Ms May will travel primarily by rail to reduce the carbon footprint.
