The Spirit of Us — An Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration

Celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day at The Spirit of Us event on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the Galiano Island Community School and Library. The event will feature traditional ceremonies led by the Smutuqsun Smuneems Drum and Dance Group. There will also be storytelling, live carving, traditional food, artisan vendors, and more. Elizabeth May will be attending.
