Canadian heritage and history were front and centre at the 16th annual Fraser Valley Regional Heritage Fair April 11-12 at Tradex.
More than 800 students participated and there were 147 projects on everything from football in Canada and the sinking of the Titanic, to BC Rail, family history, Mill Lake, and politicians.
Liam Anderson, a Grade 7 student at Upper Sumas Elementary, did his project on Elizabeth May, leader of the B.C. Green Party.
