“National Nursing Week is a time to recognise the hard work and dedication of all those in the nursing profession. Nurses are often unrecognised and underappreciated, despite them being pillars of our health care system who often go above and beyond expectations to provide desperately needed care. While the need for more nurses is rising, working conditions and mental health supports for nurses continue to deteriorate across Canada. To all of those who have given back to their communities through nursing, we thank you and value your dedication and resilience.”
