Apply Now: House of Commons Page Program 2024-2025

Good afternoon Saanich-Gulf Islands residents,

Our office is pleased to invite bilingual students graduating from high schools in Saanich–Gulf Islands to apply to the House of Commons Page Program’s 2024-2025 recruitment campaign.

Professional, impartial, and efficient service is a hallmark of the House of Commons Page Program. As a Page, you will support parliamentary democracy by providing various services to Members of Parliament, the Speaker and Chair occupants, and Table Officers. For example, you may collect and distribute official documents, deliver messages to Members, serve as a link between Members and their Hill offices, answer telephone calls, and make photocopies.

Each year, the federal House of Commons awards a one-year part-time work contract as a Page beginning in August 2024 to 40 students. To be selected, candidates must be starting full-time or part-time post-secondary studies in September 2024 at one of the following institutions in the National Capital Region: the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Saint Paul University, Université du Québec en Outaouais, La Cité, or Algonquin College.

Applications must be submitted online no later than 11:59 PM EST on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. More details and the application portal can be found here: https://www.ourcommons.ca/About/PageProgram/Index-e.html.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to the House of Commons Page Program with any questions or concerns at 613-992-7032 or [email protected].

Warmly,

Noah Hollis
