Bill C-243 Survivor’s Annual Allowance Act

Essentially, this bill would allow the survivor of a person to receive an annual allowance or an annuity after their death even if the person and the survivor married after the person attained the age of sixty years or became entitled to an annuity or annual allowance. It would ensure that the last surviving spouse is entitled to the pension.
