Good Sunday Morning,
Thanks to all Green supporters from the Cowichan Valley who came to Duncan on Friday to the great launch of the BC Green campaigns for Cammy Lockwood and David Evans. So great to hear Sonia Furstenau speak! She is inspired and inspiring.
This is a very brief letter and I know you will understand!!
Today we, (my daughter and her partner and John and I) are on BC Ferries from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert! One night and one more ferry passage and we will have four days on Haida Gwaii.
I found the pdf to the original version of my book on creating Gwaii Haanas park. Originally published in 1990 for McClelland and Steart.I rewrote it for Rocky Mountain books, for sale at Tanners. but the GPC staff pdf’d it for me years ago.
It is VERY Good Sunday reading while I am visiting what we saved!!!

North Island events include:
Monday, Aug. 26, 11am to 1pm, Sointula — Coffee with May and Wegg at Coho Joe’s Café
Monday, Aug. 26, 6:30pm to 8:30pm, Port McNeill — Meet and Greet, Gatehouse Theatre
Tuesday, Aug. 27, around 2:30pm, Alert Bay — Meet and Greet, Council Hall
So expect your next, more typical Good Sunday Morning letter on Sunday September 1.
Over the Labour Day weekend, I hope to see many of you at the Saanich Fair. If you have any time to volunteer and join me at the Green booth at the Fair, please email the Saanich-Gulf Islands Greens <[email protected]> to let them know!!
Thanks for all your support and kind messages!!
John and I now enter a world of “radio silence”.
Pray for peace and sanity to prevail,
Love,
Elizabeth
